Fully Automatic Fire Seeking & Extinguishing
Unifire systems can take x,y coordinates from infrared cameras, CCTV cameras, flame detectors, linear detectors and other modern fire detection systems to detect and confirm a fire’s existence and location and then, within seconds, extinguish the fire with up to 5000 liters per minute of water or foam solution, directly at its source.
Semi-Automatic &
Remote Fire Fighting
Unifire also designs systems to be semi-automatic and remote-controlled from a “Unifire Control System” (UCS) control station. Semi-automatic systems range from manual starts of fully-automatic systems to simpler, yet highly effective, pre-set systems that are programmed to protect one or multiple targets in the event a fire is detected at the target’s location.
Manually-controlled systems via one or more joysticks (including wireless radio remote controls) are installed such that the operator may easily control the monitor (or monitors) from one or more control stations either with a direct view to the fire or by video camera operation.
FLIR Infrared Detection
by ORGLMEISTER
Unifire partner "ORGLMEISTER" of Germany, which manufactures a highly advanced fire detection system, which utilizes FLIR infrared cameras, performs data and signal processing and feeds the resulting coordinates to Unifire's monitors for automatic aiming and fire extinguishing.
The ORGLMEISTER system, called PYROsmart®, can detect a fire 500 meters away as small as 10 x 10 cm. The system seamlessly combines images in spherical space, assigns coordinates and feeds them to the Unifire Master Control Unit, which in turn aims at and extinguishes the fire (or fires) automatically.
The ORGLMEISTER brochure can be downloaded on our documentation page or by clicking here.
Unifire also works with other manufacturers of flame detection technologies as well as systems integrators to develop custom solutions.
PRE-RECORDED TARGET PROTECTION
The Unifire system by itself is capable of automatic protection of pre-defined risk areas by means of pre-recorded spray patterns to protect one or more “target” objects. Programming is as simple as pressing a record button on the Unifire Control System and moving the monitor in a pattern that will cover it. The pattern is stored in memory. Then, if a fire breaks out at that target (which is detected by a standard fire detector), the monitor (or monitors) near the target deploy, utilizing the pre-recorded spray pattern in a loop, for a pre-defined period of time or until interrupted by human intervention, or until otherwise “told to stop” by a detector or other electronic means.
These systems are economical and effective for protecting pre-known risk areas.
MANUAL REMOTE CONTROL VIA JOYSTICK
All Unifire Force monitors are remote-controlled and come off-the-shelf with the ability to be controlled up to 500 meters away with the Unifire progressive, cabled joystick. Moreover, Unifire offers wireless radio remote controls, which operate effectively to 100+ meters.
Each Force monitor can accept as standard two inputs each, which can be used in any combination for connecting cabled joysticks, wireless radio remote receivers, or the Unifire Control System. These systems are economical and effective for protecting pre-known risk areas.
Moreover, each standard Force monitor Master Control Unit (MCU), is also capable of learning a single pre-recorded spray pattern, which is programmed by the operator by simply holding the “Record” button while operating the monitor. The memorized pattern is played back any time by simply pressing the “Play” button on the joystick.
These standard, off-the-shelf features, as well as their ability to interface with other peripherals and to be fed coordinates, set Unifire monitors apart from the competition and make them highly versatile and economical to install, simple and effective to use, while providing great flexibility for almost any environment.
